We are very pleased to announce that the Universiti Malaya (UM) will be organising the Universiti Malaya Academia- Community Engagement (UMACE) International Conference on 14th September 2021 with the theme “Innovation Resilience: Post-Pandemic Recovery”,

The UMACE 2021 will be held virtually and packed with a series of talks and symposiums, which may stimulate conversation and networking. Therefore, we would like to welcome you to join the UMACE 2021 and prospective presenters to submit extended abstracts for Oral AND/OR Video presentations to secure a place in the conference. Best Oral and Video Presenter Awards will be given for the most outstanding presentation in each symposium category.

The University of Malaya will hold a virtual mobility programme titled “VIRTUAL HEALTH VILLAGE: CARING FOR THE ELDERLY IN THE ERA OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC”. This program conducted by Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Pharmacy in collaboration with their medical, nursing, dental and pharmacy student societies of The University of Malaya. WUACD newest member, Prof. Kalpana from Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, India has several studies on community nutrition issues. She has published several studies on nutritional-related issues, such as Ramadhan fasting on the newborn’s nutritional status, mobile health as an effective nutrition communication tool for the community, developing an interactive website for adolescent girls with metabolic syndrome.
