As a university student, you have the chance to broaden your horizons beyond the classroom. One such opportunity is the unique BBK International program offered at WUACD. This program allows you to immerse yourself in different cultures and visit international universities, all while engaging in community research outreach.

BBK International in Japan: Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences
Through BBK International, Community Development can be done internationally to implement collaborative global programs aligned with Sustainable Goals (SDGs). This leads to students reaching a broader range of local communities and a more extensive variety of research findings of the targeted community. Besides, students will also have the chance to learn directly from international communities and gain experience through new perspectives as they delve deeper into new cultures. This program also serves as an outlet to embody SDG points: Point 17: Partnerships for the Goals between universities, as each country serves different purposes and has various events that undergraduate students may experience.

BBK International in Malaysia: Universiti Malaysia Terengganu
This year, the BBK International program has established partnerships with three esteemed international universities: Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, and the University of Notredame Australia, of which two are WUACD members. These partnerships enrich the academic experience and offer a unique chance to learn from diverse cultures and communities.
Students experience new cultures as well as new perspectives as they blend into their own assigned communities. Many activities involve making local foods, introducing traditions, and exploring nature. Students could also get lectures from professors in their respective universities and campus tours.

BBK International program promotes deeper engagement between experts and students from various universities and local communities. This broadens students’ perspectives for those willing to explore and experience new things in new environments. WUACD hopes to partner with more universities to encourage students to be aware of new environments. That said, stay tuned in WUACD for more information on the program we will be holding.
