Empowerment programs are needed to improve the economy evenly and overcome social  problems. Gender Equality\, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) are the issues that needs attention to provide access to a decent life for women and marginalized groups. One of the focuses of GEDSI’s activities is to empower women\, marginalized groups and disabilities by increasing their skills and capacity in various sectors\, especially the economic sector. Especially during the economic recovery period after the Covid-19 pandemic which has impacted the world economy\, it is necessary to conduct community development programs to increase economic activities and empower the community. The GEDSI Summer Program which will be held by FISIP UNAIR in collaboration with the World University Association for Community Development (WUACD) is one of the activities to facilitate student activities in women’s empowerment and business development activities. The targets of this activity are Airlangga University students\, international student\, the women groups in Gresik and Bojonegoro\, East Java\, and collaboration partners from Tirta Ayu Spa and Gresik Women’s School. The aim of this program is to engage students\, business world\, and other stakeholders to empower women in developing entrepreneurship skills and spa businesses. This activity will be carried out offline\, online and hybrid at Airlangga University Surabaya\, Wringinanom Gresik Women’s School\, and Tirta Ayu Spa Bojonegoro. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Program Details\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Tuesday\, 5 July 2022\n Webinar I (Online) \nGEDSI Study\, Development and Policy \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Thursday\, 7 July 2022\n Webinar II (Online) \nWomen and Reproductive Health related to GEDSI \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Wednesday\, 13 July 2022\n Webinar III (Online) \nCommunity Business Capacity Development related to GEDSI \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Thursday\, 14 July 2022\n Webinar IV (Online) \nCommunity Development \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Monday\, 18 July 2022 until Wednesday\, 20 July 2022\n Community Development Tirta Ayu Spa\, Bojonegoro (Offline & Hybrid) \nActivity: \n\nObserve and study the process of making spa\n\n2. Scholars can actively assist the community in the service area in using and developing the potential of existing natural resources and resources through this community service.  \nAs part of its ongoing efforts\, WUACD (World University Association for Community Development) Universitas Airlangga will host an international conference. The conference will offer a crucial platform for the growth of scholars and research on community developmental issues with a global perspective and a variety of skills and experiences. The program will be hosted by Universitas Airlangga and co-hosted by Universiti Putra Malaysia. It invites participants from both domestic and global networks to discuss in depth and effectively how academics around the world support each other in community service\, particularly in environmental health. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Program Detail\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Sub TopicsTimelineCountryEvent ActivitiesAwards Announcement\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nGreen Economy\nBlue Economy\nDigital Economy\nHealth and Well-Being\nFood Security\nTourism & Conservation\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nFirst Announcement: \n\n8 August 2022 \n\nSecond Announcement: \n\n9 September 2022 \n\n\nThird Announcement: \n\n3 October 2022 \n\nRegistration and Abstract Submission: \n\n30 October 2022 \n\nAnnouncement of Abstract Acceptance: \n\n31 October 2022 \n\nVideo Presentation Submission: \n\n31 October 2022 \n\nPoster Submission: \n\n31 October 2022 \n\nFull Paper Submission: \n\n3 November 2022 \n \n \n \n \n \n \nINDONESIA\nMALAYSIA\nINDIA\nUNITED KINGDOM\nSOUTH KOREA\nBANGLADESH\nTAIWAN\nAUSTRALIA\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nScientific Meeting\nOral Presentations\nPoster Presentations\nJournal Publication\n\n \n \n \n \n \n The awards are given to the oral presenters judged to be the best in the oral presentations and scientific papers at the International Conference on Community Development 2022. SUMMARY:Thematic Summer Program at WUACD Universitas Airlangga 2021
DESCRIPTION:WUACD Summer Program 2022 Gender Equality\, Disability\, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n There are numerous ways to do community service projects to build a bridge between implementing the knowledge and the joy of helping a community. We believe that students who engage in community service projects are more responsible with higher self-esteem and resilience.
