- Entry is open to all university students of WUACD members from any country.
- Participants should be not more than 24 years old on the date of the submission deadline.
- The essay should be in English and not exceed 1500 words. Crafting a good essay requires careful argumentation, clear structure and originality.

Contemplating in mind would be an impactful part of our lives, but contemplating in mind and share on writing would be impactful to society. Writing is a way to engage more with ourselves, inherently it creates a significant role since early education.
WUACD as community development gives a big opportunity to youth to contribute by writing on Essay Writing Competition 2023 collaboration with Universiti Malaya (UM). The competition consists of participants from undergraduate and postgraduate universities with special note, under 24 years old on their age. Moreover, this collaboration invites all students in WUACD members throughout the world.
Focusing on poverty, climate change, food insecurity, future pandemic preparation and response, healthcare, ocean issues and threats, cybersecurity, corruption, gender equality, and disability rights are the issues reflected on the current condition worldwide. By submitting the essay, student members of WUACD would get judged by a panel appointed by the competition secretariat.

- Second Prize (Silver): USD 100, Certificate, and Plaque.
- Third Prize (Bronze): USD 50, Certificate, and Plaque.
