A step forward in social response was represented on the FGD WUACD for Post-Disaster Recovery Turkiye Earthquake on May 23–24, 2023. One of the crucial aspects of disaster-recovery is increasing the quality and capacity of life for people. The data showed that vulnerable victims were not only losing their lives but also their chance of education due to the damaged school caused by the earthquake.

Through the cooperation of WUACD members with Kirklareli University, presented by Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Fatih Çömlekçi and Yuni Sari Amalia, PhD, the post-education quality resembles the awareness of its people. Distance learning is implementing points such as modules of disaster recovery, classes with credit, and multidisciplinary learning. Students will get access to inbound-outbound student exchanges, community-work together, and project-based tasks. Inside the module, students will learn about post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) management, digital media literacy, first aid management, business recovery, critical thinking issues, and traditional medicine.

Students are the symbol of education, and it shows the quality of a country’s burden for its people. Moreover, WUACD provides the opportunity to increase awareness among the representatives, such as those from Prince of Songkla University, Universitas Airlangga, Daffodil International University, De La Salle University, and Bahria University. As a conclusion, proper education depends on cooperation between the stakeholders and the people inside the country.
